For Rai Radiotelevisione Italiana - Sede di Bolzano - The history and personalities of the first half-century of existence of the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition. It was founded in 1949 by Cesare Nordio, who at that time was director of the C. Monteverdi Conservatory of Bolzano, with the aim of promoting the talent of young pianists from all over the world.
